As many of you know, Fiddler’s Creek Foundation filed a libel suit against me for speaking my mind about how the community is run. Since then, they have engaged in measures to target the publisher of the Blog. Now they are targeting more residents. On July 29, 2013, the Foundation filed a complaint in Circuit Court against members who have spoken their minds, but did so anonymously.
The complaint states, “Since the Blog Site’s creation, the Doe Defendants have published numerous defamatory remarks on the Blog Site which constitute libel per se.”
Paragraph 23 states, inter alia, “Upon discovery of the identities of the Doe Defendants, the Foundation will amend its complaint to reflect the proper names of the Doe Defendants.”
To those of you who have posted anonymously to the Blog I suggest that you read the full content of the complaint (click here) to determine if a comment you posted is listed therein, making you a target for identification by the Foundation.
If you decide that you need legal representation, my attorney, Marc Randazza, while not in a position to represent you, has offered to assist you in engaging legal representation. He has already spoken to non-profit organizations and attorneys who are willing to help
