Club service

As a relatively new home owners in Mahogany  Bend  ( the last 2 years) we have noticed that the service at the Club and the pool leaves room for improvement.  Additionally the service at the Gator grill is average at best.  We are members at other clubs in Naples and back home,  and frequent many other member clubs here in Naples ( mediterra, grey oaks,Quail west to name a few , and they all treat the members and guests much  more efficiently and professionally.  In my opinion, the staff at FC serve the members like an average hotel, while other Clubs strive to provide a ritz carlton type service.
Maybe this is the norm here and complaints fall upon deaf ears, but in my opinion excellence should be the standard.

  1. We may have different expectations, but I feel the staff go out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. I feel they always make us feel wanted and are happy to serve us in any way. Sorry you feel otherwise

  2. I recommend that you post this on the FC Members' Forum. FC actually responds to those posts, and never to these.

    1. Good advice Roger. I would also suggest that the original poster of this question talk to Ron Albeit, Club Manager. He is generally very responsive.

  3. I would suggest that the Foundation make a profit on food and beverage sales rather than the current loss. The dress code and menu options are what most don't want and create the loss. Let's have a popular menu and no dress code and make money and reduce everyone's monthly dues. Bring the people what they want, not what Aubrey thinks they need.

    1. I'm sorry but without a dress code I would fear ruffians beside me.

    2. Us ruffians would rather have a popular menu and reasonably priced food and reduced quarterly dues.

    3. No dress code? Are you serious? I really don't want to be paying top dollar to be sitting next to a man wearing a speedo and a women in a bikini that really shouldn't be in a bikini.

We don't need to lower the standards.

  4. I feel the service is good, if there has been a problem it has been handled right away.
Food is excellent, all we need is the talking mustache of Cardinal Cove to mind his manners

    1. I agree and I'm sure that most here do. Dress code is important and should be respected.

    2. I agree about a dress code. Perhaps some people truly do not know what behaviors are appropriate and inappropriate in a fine place.

We're tolerant of a wide range of behaviors in the world, but not rude ones. LOUD talking and yelling by adults is not only rude but also disturbing to other members, who come here to relax and enjoy Fiddler's Creek amenities. We like using the facilities for which we, too, pay, but how does one tell another member that this persistent behavior is very aggravating? This is not a rhetorical question.
